Combat simulator (FAQ)

  • 1. Requirements:

The prerequisite for unlocking the combat simulator is:

    • Espionage (15)

You should try to unlock the simulator as soon as possible to avoid unnecessary losses, especially when attacking nomad camps at the beginning of the game.

    2. Functions of the combat simulator:

    • Simulation of the battle outcome:
a battle outcome is simulated for both opponents.
    • Loot simulation:
shows how much loot is available (information about opponent's resources is necessary, it can be exported).

    3. Filling-in instructions:

    • Automatic filling of the fields by double-clicking:

Double-click on "Attacker" or "Defender" in the battle simulator to fill in the fields with all troops stationed in own city or with building and research levels.
    • Loading espionage results into the battle simulator:

With the help of the "Load into simulator" icon available for combat and espionage reports, the reports can be loaded directly into the simulator.

This icon is located in the upper right corner of the combat or espionage reports.

So if you have a spy report, it can be conveniently loaded into the simulator with the click of a button.
    • Export/import data:

To save yourself time entering data, you should use the "Export/Import Data" functions. So if you have a battle simulation that you might need later, you can save it as a file on your PC using the "Export" button. If you need these results later, you can press the "Import" button, select the saved file and load it directly into the simulator.

    • Other input fields of the battle simulator: Luck
      • The luck factor means higher combat power (1% luck = +1% combat power).
      • The max. value of this factor is 10%, the min. value - 0%.
      • Luck is defined by the expansion level of the Sun Villa plus luck bonuses (if any). However, the expansion level of the Sun Mansion (+ bonuses, e.g. as rewards for quests or the seasonal effects) only sets the upper limit of the actual luck factor; the actual luck value is a random value that varies from battle to battle. It varies between the lower and upper limits, i.e. between 0% and the expansion level of the Sun Mansion (plus other bonuses, if any).

    Luck in Combat Simulator:

In simulations, luck is important in that it can mean +/-10% combat power and thus significantly affect the combat outcome.

To calculate the highest possible losses, it is recommended to enter the highest luck value for the opponent's troops (10%) and the lowest value (0%) for own troops. It is not necessary to enter the seasons in this case.

  • FAQ Combat Simulator

    • Is it possible to simulate the fights of >1 player against >1 player?

No, unfortunately not. The battle simulator can currently only simulate "1 player vs 1 player" battles.
    • What happens if I add up troops of several battle participants?

The battle result will be different from the simulation result. That is, you will not get a correct result, because when several players attack together, the damage distribution changes (when attacking together, each of the combat participants attacks the target separately, and the damage is distributed accordingly).

Therefore, troops may not be combined in simulations, and if they are, it must be taken into account that the losses would be different.
    • The simulation result and the battle result do not match. Why?

Attached is the checklist to review
      • Is this a "1 on 1" battle, or is this a battle with multiple participants (at least on one of the two sides)?

In the case of a joint attack, the units must not be combined. If this is done anyway, the results will differ, possibly the losses will be higher.
      • What values did I enter for the luck factor in the simulator and what is the actual luck value according to the battle report

To be on the safe side, 0% luck for own troops and 10% luck for the opponent should be entered in the simulator. More on this topic can be found in the section "Luck", see above.
      • Did I check the Sed Festival (+100% combat power) in the simulation?

If so, please check if the Sed Festival is also shown in the combat report.

If a simulation is made with Sed Festival, but the battle takes place without the Sed Festival, then you will not get a matching result, because +100% combat power can make a very big difference in terms of losses.

It should also be noted that activating the Sed Festival in joint attacks only affects the troops of the player who has activated it. This feast (or almost any other game element that gives bonuses to troops) applies only to troops of the player who activates the feast or unlocks other bonuses. The overview of all bonuses per combatant is displayed in the combat report (below the player's name).
      • Is it the same nomad camp that I spied on before?

If a long time elapses between the time of spying and the battle, a nomad camp at the time of the battle can be
        • 1) already have been attacked by someone, so you no longer make the loot that would otherwise have been there,
        • 2) no longer be the same nomad camp, but another one that has been regenerated.
Therefore, if possible, you should not let too much time pass between spying and attacking (in the case of nomad camps). And if you do, make sure shortly before the attack that it is the same nomad and that it has not yet been attacked by other players.
