It could be interesting to have one free "Red crown" to join other members of the alliance and create a group on the map. It's easier to trade, to attack and defend together, and I think this is what an alliance is supposed to help to.
EDIT: Another thing. It's a bit annoying to apply to a tribe, wait for the answer and then have to confirm again. People always forget to confirm. Maybe make the answer more visible ?
Will try to make an entire list of what people are asking:
- Opportunity to move your city once, for free, to join the rest of your tribe
- Make the answer after applying more visible
- Limit the number of people in the tribe
- Create a tribe chat
- When editing the members list, stay in edit mode after an action and not leave it
